I love to pause as I walk through my yard in the early morning. Stopping to admire and enjoy the simple things like blades of grass, dandelions, bugs, spider webs, and of course, my favorite of all – dewdrops. Nature’s dewdrops are so intriguing to me.
If you take a moment or two to get down close to the ground, you can see them dance as they collect and form into bigger drops and move their way down the blades of grass. Nature’s way of watering the ground and the plants they collected on.
As the perfect little round droplets form on surfaces in the yard they reflect pictures of their surroundings. Dewdrops are fascinating enough and noteworthy for quotes.
Hope you find time to pause, reflect and enjoy dewdrops. Here are a few of my favorite quotes to get you thinking about dancing in your yard with dewdrops.
Let your life lightly dance on the edges of time like dew on the tip of a leaf. – Rabindranath Tagore
The person who doesn’t scatter the morning dew will not comb gray hairs. – Hunter S. Thompson
Beauty, sweet love, is like the morning dew; Whose short refresh upon tender green; Cheers for a time, but till the sun doth show; And straight is gone, as it had never been. – Samuel Daniel
In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of the little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed. – Khalil Gibran
But words are just things, and a small drop of ink; Falling like dew, upon a thought; produces that which thousands, perhaps millions think. – Lord Byron
