Ah, the joy of a rainy May morning. A perfect opportunity to stay in bed, roll over, cover your head with a pillow to avoid the noise, and sleep in late.
Not an effing chance with this hungry cat in the house. She’s mad.
She’s cute when she’s calm, but that intense look of “WTH(F) is my food” is daunting.
And her co-partner lets her do the dirty howling work. She just waits in the shadows. And stares.
Today, it’s officially May 1st by the calendar. And I’ve gone MAD. Right along with Dessy. Her howling and stalking are relentless. Mr. said, “They’ll be fine, I’ll run and get ’em food in the morning, they can wait a couple of hours to get fed.”
Dessy is obviously disappointed in my (our) efforts to feed her today. She has a lot to say about it. Literally, way more than I do.
Wanna hear?
Whew – good, thanks for taking one for the team and listening to her rants! I appreciate your support.
Stay tuned…tomorrow, I hope you all come back to hear my chance to tell you about how I’m going MADMADinMAY.
Post Inspiration – Linda G. Hill’s One-Liner Wednesday
PS – Are your pets spoiled too? What’s your favorite song that your pet sings when they’re hungry. Do you ever feel a slight tinge of joy in making them wait…or is that my madness speaking?
Just love those cats! They definitely rule
Thank you, they appreciate you joining their fan club ;-)!
My dog is not happy when we run out of his favourite. He will just eat the bare minimum of the replacement for days until the new order comes in, staring at us to try to get the good stuff.
LOL – I can relate to that as well! My little dog is so picky!! 😉 Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
I am SO loving these photos!!
Thank you, Laura – I chose to avoid the litterbox, I know you’re fond of scoopable stuff ;-)!
Our two remaining cats have decided that any time Mary comes up from the basement, it’s time for treats. And she usually obliges.
LOL – isn’t it funny how they train us so well!?!
They sure can give you ‘the look’, can’t they! Cricket always wants the good stuff too, her favorite being those pouches with bits of fish or chicken and the broth..oh the broth! haha! 🙂
Ah, your Cricket has just launched herself to the top of our cats list of ‘a cat who knows the ropes’! Cheers!
My dog wakes my hubby up for breakfast, around 4:30 AM. My dog would NEVER do that to me because she knows her momma likes to sleep till 9. Or 11. So, my doggie waits. It hubby who’s the pushover and don’t these animals know it! LOL!
LOL – my Mr. is fond of helping the cats get their fix so they leave him alone.
Now that’s one mad cat face! Good catch on that shot. Looks like posing to me. Such cute photos!
LOL – thank you! Her extra fluff makes her a slow moving target for the photo shoots. She’s predictable when it comes to what she’ll do for food.
That look says it all … staring daggers. But precious. lol – how can that cute kitty be both 🙂
LOL – she’s somehow mastered it all. She’s like Garfield. 😉
And you can tell by there small size how badly they are mistreated…so they tell me. Hmmm. They really are pretty cats. Miss ours but not ready for an other litter box.
LOL – yeah, they’re neglected, that’s for sure ;-)! Thanks for the praises for their fluffy beauty. I can tell you that I won’t miss a litter box, if we ever get to that point. We’ve had a cat or more the majority of our married lives and before that as well. It’d be weird not to have them in our lives. Some day, though…!
Ha ha – I don’t have any pets now and never had cats, but you sure captured their looks of anger, petulance and disdain toward their ‘handlers” … 🙂
Thanks, Linda – Dessy is one expressive cat! 🙂
