Today’s the day you get to make your vote count.
Not for president.
Not for vice president.
Not for governor.
Nope, none of those political votes count.
But your vote will count for something us bloggers do adore!
Linda G. Hill’s Stream of Consciousness Saturday’s prompts featuring a new Badge. Special thanks to Pam for her badge that is being retired. It has served us well!!
There are 10 entries, and your VOTE will make the difference, so head on over to share your vote by clicking on the link below:
Vote Here for the 2019 SoCS Badge
Remember to check out all of the entries. Including yours truly. (In case you missed my post with it in it over here, I’ll share it again below. By some fluke of a chance, I made the cut and my entry was accepted.) I’m so excited for all the contestants. It’s going to be a close race!
I’ve never entered a badge challenge before…there are so many great entries to compete with.
I wonder if it would feel like winning a major award?
Time will tell. The poll will be open for 24 hours–all of Thursday, October 24th, -5GMT. Vote once, vote carefully, and be sure to tell your friends to vote too! (PS – thank you for your vote 😉 !!!)
PS – The half-circle cracked window is due to be replaced today. Please keep your fingers crossed they don’t crack it again when installing. Share with me in the comments about a major award you’ve won in the past. I hope your week is going great!!
Hope your window installation goes well…and perfectly!! Good luck with the vote too 🙂
Casted my vote Shelley. Fingers crossed.
Thank you, Drew, I appreciate your support!!!
Voting now! Award? Hmm, well in grad school I was voted most likely to make it into Oprah’s book club, but I’m still working on that one!
Thank you, Rebecca! If I had been in your class with you, I would’ve voted that same thing for you. I’m sure you’ll make it into that book club soon!!
Voted…good luck! 🙂 And good luck with the window. I’m betting they’re more careful this time. No vendor wants to keep paying for the same window. LOL.
Thank you, Laurel!! The window went in fine, but it has a scratch in it made during manufacturing, so it has to be replaced. The guys installing it weren’t happy. 🙁
Good luck Ms Shelley …. wow talk about a distinguished group … I cast my vote with a clear conscious, smile and wish that your awesome talent is recognized. g
Thank you, g, I agree – a very impressive group of entries. Your vote of confidence is heart-warming – I appreciate you taking the time to cast your vote!
Good luck with the window. Love the Major Award scene from A Christmas Story. Lots of good choices for the badge. It’s gonna be close I think.
Thank you, Janet. The window went in fine, but it has a scratch on one of the panes, so it has to be replaced! Ugh. Yes, so many great choices, it’ll be a close race.
Voted 🙂
Thank you, Alice!!!
I vote for you, Shelley! I hope you win!
Done – let us know how you fared, okay?
Thank you, dear! Will do.
And status of the window as well!
Well…the window has an scratch inside one of the triple panes, so it has to be replaced again 🙁
This project is a pane who know where (forgive the pun)!
LOL – that it is!!
I hope the voting and the window-work went well.
Thanks, Dan. I’m assuming Linda will announce the winner tomorrow? The window install went fine, but it has to be replaced again. 🙁
