If you’re in the area of Chippewa Falls, stop downtown, take a walk around and see how many bicycles you can count. They are a bike-friendly city, but, no bicycles are allowed on the main street sidewalks. That doesn’t stop them from decorating with bicycles…There is a nice bicycle path around the perimeter of the city for all the bicycling fans.
There are quite a few bicycling fans as we saw many vehicles hauling bikes as we walked around downtown. After I told my husband I was struggling to figure out how to get pictures for my EverydayAdventures2017 – Bicycle, he suggested we take a walk downtown Chippewa Falls and end up at Leinie’s for a tasting.
It was a great idea! I’m still amazed at how many bicycles we saw when we set out looking for them. Look close as you walk around, you might just find some other surprises too.Hope you enjoy our walking bicycle tour!
This bike is on the corner by the 4:30 am Coffee Shop – a great place to stop for a cup of coffee during the week, however, they’re closed on Sundays. I smiled at the location of this bike, right next to the No Bicycles sign.
Make sure to peak in the windows of the shops too. The Bridge Street Brew coffee shop is new downtown and is open on Sunday’s.
There was even a bicycle decorated outside of the Leinie’s Lodge…oh, and when you go inside for a tasting of their beers, make sure to look up too!
You can’t park here overnight, but during business hours, it is a nice place to rack the bikes, park and taste the beer! Cheers and happy bicycle trails to you! EverydayAdventures2017- Bicycle
