I often wonder what would the world be like if we could capture every moment or a scene on a digital camera? Maybe we can, with the right equipment?
Trying to capture what I see in real life on my camera, is more fun than actually being able to do so. Really?
Yep! Every time I realize that I’m not able to capture every moon shot, sunset, sunrise, or a hive of bees reminds me of how precious eyesight really is. Those are the moments when I remind myself it is okay to just observe and enjoy.
Not being able to capture scenes doesn’t stop me from trying. It’s a fun challenge. I am intrigued by what can and can’t be captured in pictures.
My cameras are always sitting around, charged and ready for action.
I have two cameras (well, three if you count my cellphone’s camera – I use that mostly for SnapChat or Instagram).
I love my portable-easy to toss into my purse or attach to my belt-camera. I love to take it along on outings, especially when I’m not sure if I’ll need a camera or not. It even takes videos.
My favorite camera is this one. It’s an older model, showing a bit of wear and tear, but it still does the trick. I’m very comfortable with how it fits in my hands as I walk around clicking away. I have two lenses for it, which gives me plenty of options while taking pictures.
That’s it…two cameras, nothing too fancy. But, boy, oh, boy, I have fun. And that’s what it is all about for me. Photography is a form of meditation.
I love to capture surprises I find as I walk around. Like a bee’s nest under a railing of a wall.
Zooming in without having to get too close for comfort or stung!
Or inside, watching my cat Tizzie, or maybe she’s watching me? She’s a hard one to catch on film, sometimes she just flies by.
Other times, she sits and pretends not to notice me.
I moved closer to see if she’ll stay there for more pictures.
Now she’s getting a bit irritated with me as I try a different angle. Oh no, she spies me and ducks down.
Nose up, she’s done and looking for an escape route. She has such a cute nose, doesn’t she? Gotta love the zoom on my camera.
The best adventures are when I have no pressure to get a perfect shot. I just love simply playing and having fun with my camera! Time to head out – the sunrise is a pretty color today…wonder what I can find to capture today!?! EverydayAdventures2017 – Camera.
