As cats, we can count on being stuck in the house. A LOT. It’s just the way it is being domesticated, slightly sophisticated, always complicated, sun-infatuated felines. We’ve got the bases covered, nicely, thank you.
Normally, though, we don’t mind our in-the-house lot in life.
But, there are days, when the nice sunny fall weather appears, and we kinda like it when we get released out into the wild side of life.
Tizzie – Quick, Sis’, come here…I just heard the female hooman tell the male hooman that she had driven to work to take some photos and stopped to catch a shot of her favorite spot of trees that are in full color. She seems pretty darn excited about it!
Dessy – Yeah, I know…when she takes her camera places it’s like a happy pill for her.
Tizzie – And that means, she’s gonna go outside, again, with the camera…oh, my, let’s get ready, we might just get invited to join her this time!
Both – Seriously, we can see why the hoomans like it out there on our deck. Look at that gorgeous view. Those wispy white clouds on the blue sky, ah…the autumn colors compliment it so well.
Tizzie – With a bit of coaxing, I’m always the first to appear.
Boom…Easy, Peasy – out in the wild I go.
Yep…this is nice…now what?
Yeah, sure, okay…I’ll wait for my sister.
She takes a long time to move, much be the extra planning she needs for her redundant fluffy belly overhang thing she’s got going on?
Dessy – So…what’s up?
Tizzie – The lucky pup – he’s down there somewhere? I don’t know why HE always gets to go in the yard and WE don’t.
Dessy – Man o’ man, you sure move around a lot, is that why you’re skinnier than me?
Wait…you’re going to get in trouble if you try to go down the stairs, you know we’re not supposed to do that…
Busted…I told you so…
Tizzie – No worries, I’m cool, I’ll just go over there.
Dessy – What, you’re not going to try again to go down there?
Okay…whatever, way to give up so fast. If you don’t mind, I’m just gonna stay here a bit. That creepy little black bird down there to my left needs some studying to make sure he’s cool too.
Yep, he’s not moving, so yeah, I’ll just pose quickly and then she’ll leave me alone.
What are you doing over there?
Looks like fun, but I’m gonna just sit a spell instead, it was a long walk to get here, I need to recharge.
Tizzie – Okay, I’ll stay over here, undercover, and look nonchalant so that she’ll leave me alone too.
Wait, what was that?
I need to do a panoramic view, the hooman is blocking something, I just know it.
Grr, she’s still there with her happy pill, clicking away. If I just look past her, I’m sure I’ll see something.
Yep, what’s that?
Okay…hooman, go ahead, take a picture of me. I’ll look like I’m posing, even if I’m really studying something moving out there.
Tizzie – If I sit still long enough, with the right pose, she’ll get the shot, and then leave us alone. Way to tag along in the background, Sis!
See…she went back inside…should we follow her? Nah, let’s make her come and get us.
Post Inspiration – I found a new challenge via Brian at BushBoyBlog, thanks, Brian! By the way, if you don’t know of Brian, I’d recommend that you check out his photography. It is intriguing for me every time I stop by his blog. I love catching glimpses of his world in Australia. Today’s prompt is thanks to Bren at RyanPhotography – it is called Fur-Baby Friday #4. Check out Bren and Ashley’s photos – they are very inspiring, I hope they don’t mind the entry with lots of photos – Tizzie and Dessy just wanted to steal the show today for this my 450th post!!
PS – What hobby of yours is your happy pill? Yesterday I felt so blue without sleep, and then I went outside, saw the sun and the beautiful color changing trees, and I couldn’t stay blue. Do you have house cats and do you let them out? Which photo did you like the best? It’s kinda difficult to catch my two in action – they know the drill too well!
Thank you very much for entering xx . Of course we don’t mind you entering all these lovely fur-baby images. The more fur-baby images the better. Have a great weekend xx
Thank you, Bren! I appreciate the opportunity. Hope you have a great weekend, too!
Hi Shelley, I also run challenges on a Monday and Wednesday and if you read this post there is a list of challenges floating around that I take part in.

Thank you Shelley for your kind words and recommendation <3
I enjoy a good picture story. Wonderful 🙂
You’re welcome, Brian! Thank you for your kind words of encouragement and for sharing the connection to RyanPhotography through your blog!
Fun babies with fur. They are our heart strings sometimes. Great expressions and cute idea of a story.
Thank you, Anita, yes, fur babies are special!
My housekitty stays in. I am too afraid of cars and coyotes and other hurtful things for him to roam outside.
Yikes, I’d be afraid of those too! Good thinking to keep your kitty inside!
